Westerwood Community Council is here to support the residents of Westerwood, Cumbernauld with the issues that effect them. We provide help with tackling problems like litter, congestion, building, security etc. We hold regular meetings and we welcome comments on our web site, to our council members or at our meetings.

Established in 2001, Westerwood Community Council was originally set the task to fight aggressive building proposals. Success here and in other campaigns has resulted in a strong and well respected council. As a result, via the council, the residents of Westerwood are now consulted on most issues that effect them and we have built a spirit of partnership and co-operation with our neighbours.
